The TOHS welcomes the community to attend our presentations which are held at the Onondaga Town Hall, March through June, September through November. Speaker and topic announcements can be found on our Facebook page, Town of Onondaga Historical Society, and on this website.
We have the collection of Onondaga County Poor House Ledgers from the 1830s through the 1960s, local family histories, diaries, scrapbooks, church records, burial records, maps, books, videos, audio tapes, and photographs.
Members are encouraged to offer their time and efforts, especially in helping us staff the museum to greet and assist visitors. We are also looking for interested individuals to continue our endeavor to transcribe the Poor House ledgers, to work on displays, to assist with digitization projects, and to work on speaker presentations and event planning.
